RAPPORT MENSUEL DES ACTIVITES DE JUIN 2016

INTRODUCTION:
Dans le cadre de l’exécution du projet de réinsertion des jeunes a risque ANNEE 2, les activités de ce mois de juin 2016 se sont articulées autour des activités suivantes :
Activités réalisées:
1) suivi des activités
2) formation
3) visites des sites /rencontres avec autorités
4) reunion de coordination

DEROULEMENT:
1) suivi des activités
Après les phases de sensibilisations et le renforcement de capacités des bénéficiaires en stratégies de développement communautaire le mois dernier, ce mois -ci l’accent a été mis sur le démarrage effectif de l’exécution projet dans les trois (03) sous –projets à savoir l’élevage (poulets de chair /pondeuses), l’agroforesterie et le maraicher dans les différents sites.

AU NIVEAU ELEVAGE: la construction de deux (02) fermes pondeuses est en voie d’achèvement à BOKA-HO et a ABOUDE DADIE. Les constructions des cinq (05) nouvelles fermes de poulets de chair ont démarré et sur certains sites nous sommes au stade de la charpente ex : DEY-OBOGUIE /MURE /N’GORANKRO. ICA-CI vient de se doter d’un incubateur d’une capacité de 880 œufs pour résorber un tant soit peu le facteur d’approvisionnement en poussins des 11 fermes.

AU NIVEAU DE L’AGROFORESTERIE:
Des semences de mais ont été distribué sur tous les sites ainsi que 5 ha de plants de palmier dans les cinq sites.

AU NIVEAU MARAICHER: les activités de distribution d’intrants, de semences (gombo, aubergine, persil, piment, choux), des materiels agricoles surtout les sites de l’année 2 ont été effectués. Le semis des gombos et la mise en place des pépinières ainsi que l’installation du jardin potager d’ABOUDE boa Vincent. Le responsable du projet maraicher a profité de ce mois pour faire un renforcement de capacité en itinéraires techniques agricoles à N’GORANKRO PK 101 au profit des bénéficiaires.

2) FORMATION: une formation en leadership a été organisée et animée par Mme SHIZUYO SATO directrice exécutive de ICA-JAPON du 9 au 11 /06 /2016 avec 45 participants issus des 11 villages d’intervention du projet.il faut noter qu’au dernier jour de la de la formation ,sur invitation de Mme SATO, Mrs. TAKEDA et MIAMOTO, tous deux operateurs économiques et spécialistes des marches ont fait des interventions sur le marketing gagnant et inviter les bénéficiaires à redoubler d’efforts pour escompter de bons résultats et sur tout mériter la confiance du bailleur de fond qui est MOFA a travers ICA-JAPON

3) VISITES DES SITES /RENCONTRES AVEC LES AUTORITES
arrivée en terre Ivoirienne le 4 /06/ 2016 Mme SATO SHIZUYO Directrice Exécutive de ICA-JAPON a tenu a s’imprégner des réalités terrain en visitant les anciens villages du projet ANNEE 1 et les nouveaux sites d’interventions du projet ANNEE 2; au sortir des visites, Mme SATO a souhaiter la réhabilitation des fermes de l’année 1 en matériaux durables et aussi demandé d’introduire dans l’agroforesterie des plants de moringa, de nime, de teck, de fromager.

AU CHAPITRE DES RENCONTRES AVEC LES AUTORITES:
Mme SATO a tenu à faire ses civilités aux autorités préfectorales d’AGBOVILLE, aux Sous-préfets de N’DOUCI et D’ ORESKROBOU ainsi qu’au Premier Adjoint au maire représentant le maire Mr. N’CHO empêché en présence du Directeur de Cabinet de la mairie au sortir des échanges, les autorités ont révélé l’intérêt que suscite le projet auprès des populations et de leurs implications effectives pour l’atteinte des résultats du projet; les autorités ont aussi prié Mme SATO de bien vouloir prendre en compte de nouveaux villages pour les années à venir compte tenu des besoins énormes en terme d’actions humanitaires.

En date du 16 juin 2016 au matin, Mme SATO a rencontré le 1er Secrétaire de l’ambassade du JAPON Mr, OMAGARI pour lui faire le point des activités sur le terrain et un compte rendu des différentes rencontres qu’elle a eu avec les autorités administratives et autorités décentralisées de la région de l’AGNEBY-TIASSA. En mi-journée avant son départ pour le JAPON, elle a échangé avec Mrs TAKEDA et MIAMOTO en présence du staff ICA-CI, pour les inviter a s’impliquer d’avantage dans le projet dans le domaine du marketing et de la recherche des marchés pour les productions des fermes avicoles. En réponse, Mr. TAKEDA a accepté de payer aux comptant 600 poulets /mois à compter de fin août 2016.

22/06/2016: Mr. MIAMOTO a rencontré le staff ICA-CI a AGBOVILLE pour échanger sur la rentabilité du projet élevage et étudier ensemble le marché porteur.

REUNION DE COORDINATION:
En date du 24 juin 2016 s’est tenue une réunion de coordination au siège de ICA-CI avec les représentants des bénéficiaires des six (06) anciens villages du projet année 1, dans l’optique de pouvoir échanger avec eux et voir dans quelle mesure ils (les bénéficiaires ) comptaient booster la reprise des activités des sous-projets dans leur différent village .au sortir des 2 h 40 mn d’échanges, il a été convenu ce qui suit :

A) la réhabilitation urgente des fermes avicoles dès la semaine prochaine
B) la commande des poussins à partir de la 1ere semaine du mois de      juillet  2016
C) une sensibilisation de masse des bénéficiaires de tous les anciens      sites par la coordination d’ICA-CI
D) la signature des contrats d’engagements

ACTIVITES FUTURES:
1) donation des plants de palmiers et des agrumes aux anciens villages
2) formation a l’utilisation de l’incubateur
3) dépouillement et choix du site devant abriter la ferme modèle et la      Compostière
4) construction de la Compostière
5)achat et distribution des kits d’élevage et des boîtes de protection des      plants
6)suivi des activités en agroforesterie /maraîcher /élevage.

ACTIVITIES REPORT OF JUNE FROM ICA-CI

Introduction:
As part of the implementation of reintegration of youth at risk project YEAR 2, the activities for the month of June 2016 were structured around the following activities:

Activities carried out:

3) site visits / meetings with authorities
4) coordination meeting

DEVELOPMENT:
1) Activities followed up
After the phases of sensitization and strengthening Capacities of beneficiaries in community development strategies last month, this month the emphasis was put on the effective implementation of the (03) sub-projects namely chicken raising (meat and egg chicken), agroforestry and vegetables raising in different sites.

ABOUT CHICKEN RAISING:
the construction of two eggs chicken houses is nearing completion at Boka-Ho and Aboude Dadie. The construction of five new chicken meat houses have started and on some sites we are at the stage of framing example: Dey-Oboguie / Mure/ / N'gorankro. ICA-CI has got an incubator with a capacity of 880 eggs to solve problem of the supply of chicks in 11 chicken houses.

ABOUT AGROFORESTRY:
Maize seeds were distributed to all sites and 5 hectares of palm trees on five sites. On some sites, maize seeds have already been planted around chicken houses and they are growing very well.

ABOUT VEGETABLE RAISING:
Distribution activities of inputs, seeds (okra, eggplant, parsley, Pepper, cabbage), agricultural materials all year2 sites were made. Sowing okra and implimentation of nurseries and the installation of the vegetable garden of Vincent Aboude Boa.

2) TRAININGS:
Training in agricultural techniques.The responsible of vegetable project took advantage of this month of strengthening capacity in agricultural techniques to beneficiaries at N'gorankro Pk 101.

LEADERSHIP TRAINING
Leadership training was organized and animated by Mrs. Shizuyo Sato Executive Director of ICA-Japan from 9 to 11/06/2016 with 45 participants from 11 villages of projet. It should be noted that last day of the training, on invitation of Mrs. Sato, Mr. Takeda and Miamoto, both economic operators and markets experts made presentations on the winning marketing and invited beneficiaries to intensify efforts to expect good results and especially get the trust of the funder who is MOFA through ICA- Japan

3) SITE VISITS / MEETINGS WITH AUTHORITIES VISITS ON SITES

Having arrived in Côte d’Ivoire on 06/04/2016, Mrs. Sato Shizuyo, Executive Director of ICA-Japan, visited the old villages of the year one project and the new sites of year 2 project. At the end of the visits, Ms. Sato wished for rehabilitation of the year1 chicken houses in stronger materials and also ask to introduce agroforestry moringa, nime, teak trees etc.

ABOUT CHAPTER OF MEETINGS WITH AUTHORITIES:
Mrs. Sato held a meeting to greet to the prefectural authorities in Agboville, N'douci and Oress-Krobou and the first deputy mayor representing the Mayor Mr. N'cho ( absence due to sickness) in the presence of the Director of Cabinet town hall at the end of the meeting, the authorities revealed the interest of people about the project and their effective implications for the achievement of project results; the authorities also ask to Mrs. Sato kindly consider new villages for coming years because of the enormous needs in terms of humanitarian action.

On the date of June 16, 2016 in the morning, Mrs. Sato met with the first secretary of the Embassy of Japan Mr. Omagari to make report about activities on fields and meetings she has had with administrative and decentralized authorities in the region of Agnéby-Tiassa. On the day before her departure for Japan, she also had a meeting with Mr. Takeda, Mimamoto in the presence of CIA-CI staff, inviting them to become more involved in the project in the field of marketing and the search of markets for chicken raising production. In response, Mr. Takeda agreed to pay cash for 600 chickens / month from the end of August, 2016.

06/22/2016: Mr. Miamoto met CIA-CI’s staff in Agboville to discuss the profitability of the chicken raising project and together study markets.

4) COORDINATION MEETING:
On 24 June, 2016 a coordination meeting was held at the CIA-CI’s office with representatives of the beneficiaries of six villages of the year 1 project, for the purpose of talking with them to see how (beneficiaries) can be motivated to restart sub-projects activities in their different villages. At the end of 2 hours and 40 minutes of exchanges, it was agreed that:

1) the urgent rehabilitation of chicken houses starting from next week
2) the order chicks from the first week of July 2016
3) Sensitization of the beneficiaries of all old sites by ICA-CI’s      coordination.
1) Signing up of commitment contracts

FUTURE ACTIVITIES:
1) donation of palm trees and agrumes to old villages
2) training in the use of the Incubator
3) counting and choice of site for model farm and Compost house
4) construction of the compost house
5) purchase and distribution of farming kits and protection boxes for     plants
6) monitoring activities in agroforestry, vegetable and chicken raising.
